Hi - I'm looking to hire something a bit nice for my up and coming 30th.

Does anyone have recommendations on hire companies for a Gallardo or F430 or something? There are tons of companies out there but thought you guys might have found a bargain one someone?

Would appreciate any help on this one!

I've got a recommendation.

Don't crash. They have a £25,000 deposit.

I used these guys http://www.rapiddrive.co.uk/ when I last flew over to the UK. Very good service.

It was more the F430 spy and the Gallardo at £299 that made me suspicious of their rates, even more so when you compare them to other companies.

I spoke to these guys earlier, as they are in my back yard, and I've never heard of them. Number goes straight through to a mobile. Sadly all the cars seemed to be booked until mid-June rolleyes

I asked about the spec on the Lambo, and he said it was the one on the website - interesting as he said it was a spyder, and the one he appears to have is a GT3!

However £1450 for a week in a Gallardo is cheap - it wouldn't be my money though.
I wonder if they're based at the airport valet parking area!!!

Every car booked solid til June, off the back of that website? Aye right. WHOIS search is interesting though. Deposit up-front now for June I bet though.... get 20 folk to do that and its a nice earner!

I think each of the prices on the websites given above are VERY good ! A new exotic car hire company has opened up near my house in Italy and they want 2,000 euros for one day in a f430 or a gallardo !
Now compare that to the UK companies in the same market..

A detailed credit check on the company combined with the results of a whois search and a check against the name which comes up doesn’t look too good. I certainly wouldn’t give them a deposit!

I can personally recommend 2 companies:

- Daily hire: www.avisprestige.com
- Supercar club: P1 www.p1international.com

I'm a member of P1 and have driven the DB9 Volante from Prestige. PM me for details smile
