At least one owner isnt shy in giving his 1 DAY OLD PURCHASE!! a good running in period!

He went into the tyre wall after a few laps damaging the bumper/bonnet/wing, you can see the black rubber marks in that last picture. Didnt slow him down though, was fantastic to watch him driving the wheels off it!!

Now there is a reg number to keep handy if you are possibly going to be in the market for one these in the future.

Avoid this one!

Surely that's what these cars are built for, get them out on the track where they belong.

Great pics.

That's all very well if you can afford the repair bills. The excess on mine if I use it on a track day and ding it is £10,000, and it wouldn't take much to reach that level of repair bill.

Call me a wuss, but I think I'll stick to pootling around public roads.

I would estimate he caused several thousands of pounds worth of damage today.
Bumper was badly cracked probably need replaced. Bonnet was dented quite badly along with drivers side wing, one of the front honeycomb grilles was also burst.

When the guy tries to claim from his insurance company, stating that the damage was done whilst driving sedately down Acacia Avenue, there is ample evidence on here that he obviously wasn't.

Well that's one scenario why not anyway.

Its a public trackday with dozens of people taking pic/videos etc. I know not all of them appear on the net but more than mine have appeared so far.

I believe the owner wont be too bothered actually as I think he has other plans for the car.

Oh really? Is he one of Andrew Gallacher's buddies is he? Oh no, more very fast cars to kill of the best racing in Scotland. I hope not!

Fair comment. Videos and cameras are everywhere today.
I never understand why people get sensitive when they see a car on the net with it's reg visible.

When you drive it down the road you don't block the reg out then so whats the difference?

Plus, I doubt his insurance will scour through forums/the internet before processing his claim if that even what he intends to do.

lol that is a pic I would keep if I was that Corsa driver. He can boast to his mates that he was in front of a Superleggera.
At the end of the day if the guy is rich enough I say go for it. Wasn't there a thread on here of a guy offroading a Jaguar XJ220. If you got it flaunt it, i'm only jealous.

I'd say there's a good chance insurance co's would be on sites like this IF there was a claim, but if the owner didnt want people to know the ID of his car, the plates wouldnt be on it anyway! How many times have you been on a tack day and seen a road registered car with no plates or tax disk? And those fella's sat at the gates or walking the paddock taking down number plates...I wouldnt mind specualting that all are not pure enthusiasts. Especially the ones in suits with clipboards hehe

Hi

The Leggera would have had no chance against the Blue focus....

That is Andrew Gallacher's new car, Carbon fibre body panels and between 600-700bhp under the bonnet a very quick car.....

You don't think I know this Zippy? I know about Andrew Gallacher's new car only too well, its only as good as the guy behind the wheel.
