Hello All,

Just brought my first Ferrari (360 Modena F1. Tubi is ordered and on the way...

I was thinking about tuning products for the car and considered aftermarket air filters (free flow type) and also looked at remapping. What are peoples opinions on these? I am a bit dubious about the remapping as I heard that the rev limit is raised also (9000 rpm?)this just seems too high on an already rev happy engine.

Dont know about the newer engines but from what i have read the older stuff can rev round to 9,000 and even 10,000RPM. Dont know how long any engine can sustain this kind of abuse though. Although to be fair no standard Ferrari stays anywhere near red line for very long anyway.

You thought abput loosing weight rather than increasing BHP. things like carbon bucket seats, getting rid of the carpet, carbon door card. air filter won't do a huge amout maybe 2 bhp if your lucky.

Nothing you'll really notice to be honest. The sound of a decatted ferrari with the right exhaust on it is pretty hard to beat. smile

De-cat Tubi on the 360 makes a huge difference, not just sound, but high rpm power and best of all the engine is very responsive, like blipping an F1 engine, when i put mine back to standard it felt strangled

Ted, I was thinking about decatting mine, but had concerns about the CEL (check engine light) being on all the time. Has anyone managed to get around this? I know there are some modified "bosses" that site the lambda sensor further away from the pipe and I also heard that reprogramming the ecu can erradicate it? any ideas?
