At what oil temperature can I really start revving the hell out of my 360? It seems to take an age for the oil temp to get to just over the 1/4 point on the dial, where it generally stays. The water temp rises a lot more quickly however. It means that it takes so long to warm up that unless I'm on a long run, I never really get to drive it hard, as by the time it's warmed up I've arrived!

ideallly, you want it to get to about 70-80 'C the water will warm up alot faster for sure. If you really want to give the car some beans on a pertticular journey start the car 5 mins earlier and leave it idling.
