360 Modena F1? And what do we think of the '50k' 360? Beset with problems? walking moneypit...? I know mileage not too much of a disaster if cared for and engine pretty bullet-proof these days...?

I love the CSL but have always had German and a Ferrari for the summer.......mmmm

I think it would be a real let down unless it's a stradale

i bought a 360 spider after 4 years in my e46 M3.

after driving the 360 across europe i came back and got in the M3 and hated it.
i think uprated the brakes, suspension, exhaust and put in a schnitzer gearchange kit.

that brought the M3 up to a much closer level to the 360 in terms of driving enjoyment.

so my opinion is that you wont be disappointed in the 360 after the CSL.
drive it to make sure it's the car you want though

Hi

I had a SG M3 CSL and loved it one of my fave cars now got 997 C2s .But my Dad has always had a few nice cars. He had a 360 spider, coupe and the CS . What I will say for me it would have to be the 360 CS the old man had a red one just superb I loved it same idea as the CSL but better. Only prob is the CS is about £100k for a good one if I were you I would get 360 M F1 with Challenge wheels and sports exhaust. Hope this helps.

All the best

I went from an E46 M3 to a 997S to a 360 modena.....

The Modena knocks spots off the others....

And let's face facts, as good as the CSL is it is still just a hotted up 3 series....

The 360 is an occasion every time you drive it ...hell just opening the garage door gets me excited....

Buy one you will not regret it ......especially when you find a tunnel..

JOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have only written off one of them!! And that was due to the "Cup" tyres and rain????
Anyway!
The CSL is a nice bit of kit, but the 360 is in a VERY different ball park!! The CSL MAY be as quick as a 360 on paper but there is so much more Depth to the Ferrari. It really is a stunning car! Bit "twitchy" at high speed, but i fitted the "Challenge Stradale" suspension on mine and that transformed it.

You should find the difference enjoyable enough IMO. Having had several 360s and 355s I would encourage you to also consider a spot-on late 355 Spider for the same money over one of the 'bottom of the heap' 360s (in terms of price - therefore condition etc).

A mate has one of those, my god it's a beast....it is so quiet and civilised then you realise that you are covering ground rather rapidly.....De-badged it is the ultimate Q-wagon.

My view????????????
DON'T DO IT!!!!!!
I had one (though not the plus) It was the biggest disappointment ever. struggled to do 10mpg, servicing was extortionate , and was SOOOO boring to drive.(I used to enjoy my Diesel Ford Mondeo more!!)
Anyway just my two pennyworth..
