Excellent choice! Every time I mention putting an order on an Abarth, people make comments about it being a gay/girls car - but I am not so sure. I think they can look pretty good!

Nice choices!

Kryten - PLEASE do not take this as an insult in any way, but I love the fact that it looks like you like in a 'normal' house - not some gated, four-hundred-yard-drive, behemoth of an abode with a Ferrari in the garage. smile Makes me realise I am not the only one trying to fulfill a dream. biggrin Congrats, mate.

They're huge in the metal. I thought they'd be a bit more compact.

Huge compared to what, a child's tricycle? They're one of the smallest cars on the market.

It's in Kensington, and currently valued at £15 million.....still think it's "normal"?

Gosh, really? Thanks for telling me, I might not have noticed. In other news, the BMW Mini is larger than the other one? Coincidence, or another conspiracy!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!

Down Sarff some "normal" looking houses can have massive prices attached to them, a prime example would be looking on rightmove for say surrey, or areas within, egham, weybridge etc etc and areas within - it always amazes me the prices they are advertised for compared to what you can have built/buy within Yorkshire. I am not saying they are overpriced in surrey - there are some fabulous looking properties - including Krytens. Which area are you (roughly)

The house you see is the gatekeepers logdings. Mine is down the 2mile driveway! biggrinbiggrin

Nah, sorry to disappoint, its not worth anything near £1m let alone £15m. My house (near Croydon) is nice, but fairly regular.

Kryten,

it looks to me like a nice ersidence, and if you are happy, that is the main thing. Sod what other people think, too many people these days feel they have to impress with the relatiovely massive abodes and gates etc mortgaging themselves up to their maximum and beyond - I am already seeing people really struggle becuase they just wanted to live on estate x or y or z etc etc.

Car looks really good - I would really like to see a running update on it - am I right in thinking you are using it as an almost everyday proposition?

Exactly what I was getting at.

I am in the North East, BTW - where a million-pound house actually still looks like one....just! smile

I am a Geordie-Boy. smile Not sure I could see myself outside of the region, really - best of all worlds up here, IMHO. You have a bustling city if you want it - the coast or luscious countryside...all within a short drive wherever you live around Newcastle. Plus you have access to some fantastic roads. When I had my RX8, I did the Hartside Pass run a few times, where I have never felt more alive when driving. The minute I get myself back into a sports car, I know exactly where I am heading. smile
