I test drove this car (M90 TOY) about 3-4 years ago when I first started looking. At the time it was much cleaner than any if the other 2WD cars I looked at. It was with Carlo at Top Gear Specialist Cars. I think it was the second time he had sold the car so probably knows much of its history. At the time it was mint inside but had some paint blisters in the usual places (which is normal really).
Since that time it has had a replacement SE30 front spoiler and the SV roof scoops have been added for cosmetic effect. Looks good, but to me really but means that it's not in original form and a bit of a mish-mash (but that depends on individual opinion). So I don't know if the recent owner had played with any other bits of the car.

I wanted the car at the time, but we ended up haggling over about 2K and never aggreed a price.

This car had been on sale since last year. Its got the old style dash, wrong bumpers and the SV scope above the roof.....also, I believe its got no power steering as well. If you want a 2WD diablo with the old spec on, Topgear cars got a Red one with big brake conversion......you know which one I mean... I'll give you a call later mate.

Thanks for that pete - was the service history ok from what you remember? - the only thing i noticed that concerned me slightly was in the descpt it says "documented service history" - sounds to me like it could be missing something?

This car isn't far from me and i did briefly toy with the idea of buying it but quickly realised that a 355 will be a lot easier to live with. The car actually sold last year but it has been traded back in recently. I can go look at it for you and enquire about the history. The garage owner is a customer of my restaurant but i don't know him personally. Let me know if you want me to get any info.
