I think it looks gorgeous, although Im a little undecided on the rear arches.

Is it worth the asking price and what would you guys be asking if enquiring about it?

Your call - personally I wouldnt touch it with a barge pole.... highly unlikely that a mian dealer would do the work in the first place (given that they dont really even want to put tubis on new ferraris as they say it will invalidate warranty find it hard to beleive they would turbo up a 328 - but i could be wrong of course as car might not have had a warranty on it when it was done mmm)..check the waranty it comes with as well.... although most of them are cr*p nowadays

On a second note I think it is rather expensive - once a ferrari has been modified in this type of manner then I would consider that it is worth LESS than an original not more - i know that is a personal thing but that is what i would think.... I made a few additional improvements to my 355 (uprated engine power, big brakes adn lower ride height - made it a superb car but invalidated warranty and I knew it would sell for less than a comparable 98 R reg with 30k miles)

I have to agree though it does look lovely ... its the 288 gto rear wings that do it for me

They paid about £23k for it at Barons a couple of months ago, so £40k is way too much http://www.barons-auctions.com/details.php?lotpath...

I just bought a 10k miles concours 328GTS for £35k from a dealer...why pay £40k for that? I wouldn't touch it.

In fact I think I have seen it before at Verdis last time I went for a look see when my mate went to pay the deposit for his fezza.

If it was that one you couldnt get your hand between the tyre and arch and your foot wouldnt go under the side sill.

But then again that could of been another similar one as they tried to sell that one to me then and made no mention of a turbo'd engine in it.

35k is also alot for a 328. How is it a concurs car? Has it been entered as a competitive car? To many people use the word concurs to describe Ferraris.
Have you got any pictures or a link.

If it was, that was on the books at 25k.

Conerted by Emblem, IIRC. It was at Macari's for a while for circa 30, I'm sure.

It's worth whatever the going rate is for its age, mileage and condition... minus the cost of reverting it back to standard.

No special skills, I just remembered it being auctioned a couple of months ago. I also remember Joe Macari having it in a couple of years ago.

Yes, its won many national concours. Yes there alot cheaper out there, but have you actually looked at any of them? I looked at 20 or more and this was the only one I was really satisfied with. Just remember theres no such thing as a bargain Ferrari. You get what you pay for every time.
