Hi
am hoping to go to Stanford hall this sunday for the Italian car event. Am staying in a hotel about 8 miles fromm venue. anyone going to it? Wasnt going to be too early. Spoke to Phil Ward an he says can get in anytime form 9.30am and will be a display area in front of main building for Lambos. Will hopefully be down in a white Countach QV. Email me if interested in in some sort of drive/convoy mid/ late morning?

a'm a-going - green machine is going to Goodwood if LCUK's chairman has enough time to wriggle it through it's (hopefully just a formality) MOT - will be carrying some guilt about not promoting the show at Tatton Hall enough (again) - see you there.

Hi dave

Was thinking of going to Tatton hall as well, but seems to have disapeared from club calender. Am down that area anyway, but on checking the website is open only to pre reg cars. Have you appleid for pre reg for the club or any cars? if not is fine.

IT WASN'T ME WHO PUT THOSE BROCHURES THERE...

A mostly good day was spoiled (a bit) by the jobsworth(s) at the gate who contrived to have LCUK cars parked at a number of different location... at least somebody I spoke to before heading home was able to say that even just one Lamborghini is an occasion in itself whereas all those Ferraris were just the 'usual' clotted mass of redness...

My old college friend and her kids asked me if I knew how they could meet Jemimah Klaxon just as 'their' almost scrap cars were pushed through the gate towards the barn - the youngest kid had been bouncing in Lamborghinis for a while but still thought his mate's dad's Subaru had the best wing - he is 7, apparently that's a reasonable defence...

but I know who it was who did... and you should have seen where else he found to put them

IT WASN'T ME WHO LIFTED THEM...

It was good to put a few more names to faces, see a few familiar faces and, of course, cars.

Maybe we expected too much, but a Miura, F40, F50, Daytona or Bugatti or two would have been welcome. Perhaps they were at Goodwood/afraid of the showers ?

The jobsworths weren't overly helpful either when we spotted that the enclosed area was about to become a prize-giving traffic jam and elected to escape first.

Regards, A.

...AND IT'S NOT ME SELLING THEM ON AT SCHOOL EITHER

I've been told that certain green coloured Lamborghinis (for example) weren't at Goodwood as the weather was horizontally falling and essentially non-dry...
