Seriously, that is a hell of a cheap price for such a car.

I bought a black/black conti gt last year ago on an 04 plate for 75k and sold it 5 months later for a loss of 13k plus running costs.

These cars are potentially money-pits, and with so many on the road there is not much to stop them tumbling below 40 grand next year. I bit the bullet on my car and got out before it crippked me. I suggest your mate does the same

I read yesterday that every single Continental has to be recalled due to a fault. All 33,000 of them!

Without seeing your friends car I cannot comment but it sounds cheap to me. We have just given not much less for one with 75,000 miles on!!
