5 days left and the price is already at 45K. I wonder what the end price will be. Any thoughts? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1999-FERRARI-355-SPIDER-F1-S...
I am looking for a nice 355 spyder or GTS during the summer so am watching prices. The 355 does not seem to be falling as fast as some lead us to beleve. A good spider has always been 43+k for the last two years.

Looks Like a nice car, TDF Blue is lovely colour, and not as popular as it should be. I purchased a 17k miles 355 spider same spec last year for well under 30k its killer was that it was green. If you look carefully they are definately becomming in purchasing reach of top 328 buyers. Good luck if you intend to buy - I hope she's as good as she looks!

Realy? A green one for under 30k? I have never thought of buying a so called of colour to get a big drop in price.
Have you any pictures?

Maybe its the beginning of the F355 boom thats been mentioned a few times.

More people buy convertibles now days, and the F355 is becoming ever more popular.

Plus with the property business as it is currently, anyone wishing to invest some cash would be better off investing in something like a 355 than a house for a few years. There's more chance of the prices of 355s going up than houses. And which is the most fun?

Sorry but that is a stupid statement.
If you want to invest £150k in a house then do you really think that in 10 years it will be worth less than the purchase price ?
The UK is an over crowded island full of people wanting somewhere to live not wanting Ferraris.
If you buy a supercar nowadays then you have to expect some kind of hit - very few cars are going to increase in value and I am afaid the 355 is not one of them.
For a car to be a good investment then it needs two things, rarity and desirability and sorry but the 355 only has one of those things.

Sorry for this post but I just had to reply.

No its not, dont believe every thing you are spoon feed south of Watfordwink It maybe down south but the more north you go its a different story. Take Scotland, less than 5 million people in that vast land. The UK build on only 8% of the available land. The UK needs affordable houses not all these bloody so called 300+K luxury flats that are cropping up every were just to line the pockets of developers and council planners.
But i agree with the rest of your post. smile

confused
I know what I'd rather have my money tighed up in...

A) Big detached house with lots of space that I dont need? Also in the current market will be difficult to sell? And when houses are falling in value ona percentage at the moment, you'll lose more. Plus prices of gas and electric are going up so it'll be more espensive to heat and run. How dull.

B) 2 bed semi, bit of time spent on DIY to make it nice, affordable to a first time buyer should I wish to sell, and a Ferrari F355 Spider!

Yes I know petrol is going up too, but I dont have to use it all the time.

You call yourself Pistonheaders???? Shame on you all! nono

Then you should, to buy an F355, or if you already have one, buy an F355 challenge car for track days!!!
