Hi there,

Got the chance earlier this week to photograph a stunning Lamborghini Murcielago 40th Anniversary. The 40th Anniversary is a rare car with only 50 ever made and currently only 3 or 4 in the UK (only 2 RHD). The owner was a real nice guy who had only owned the car for 6 weeks having previously owned a Aston Martin DB9. In his words the Murcielago is in a completely different league to the DB9, and he really looks forward to going out in the Murcie as he can't get over just how quick it is.

Although the location was not ideal I am quite pleased with the way these pics have turned out.

Hope you like pics, all being well the next photoset from me should be in a few weeks and feature a very nice Countach Anniversary.

Regards

Tim

location, location, location - who really cares about such rubbish? A great car and probably more importantly a great photographer can overcome such problems...

Well done Tim - some great images as always - you'd be lethal in a studio or 'chosen' spot with big sweeping landscape or gritty industrial wastelands!

Awesome pics, shame about the location but I'm sure that car would look stunning anywhere - the same car that was at the Goodwood breakfast club on the 1st June??

Great photos Tim, as usual.
Is that a one-off blue? I thought that all of the 40th Anniversary Murcielagos were finished in that sort of turquiose green colour.

I think that was LHD - there are only 2 RHD cars, so even rarer!

I've seen other photos of this very car and the colour looks as you have described. I think the light affects this colour more than usual. Great pics.

Hi there,

Yep the one at the Breakfast Club was Left Hand Drive: -

(Although you can't see the steering wheel, look at the windscreen wiper)

The colour is a sort of Turquoise Green/Blue, the light does play tricks on the colour, but in the flesh it is stunning.

Fantastic set of snaps, mate! thumbup

There was a 40th anniversary at Meridien a while back. Had the chance to look at it and was amazed by the colour, looks completely different in person.

Pics are fantastic but ruined somewhat by the massive border and writing IMO. biggrin

Didn't these have around 615bhp? I remember they were never really tested by the journalists.
