Northern Breakfast Meet & Run - Any Interest?

Down South there are early morning meets at the Ace Cafe, Goodwood, all sorts. Up here we don't seem to be as well catered for.

How much interest would there be in a semi regular (monthly or every other month) Sunday morning run through Yorkshire ending up at my office in Malton (midway between York and Scarborough) for bacon butties and a brew?

We've got plenty of free parking and some nice cars to druel over whilst everyone catches up, my idea would be to make it nice and informal like a pub meet but with a drive beforehand.

Any interest?

Mmmmmmmm......now and again i think a run out with a few like minded enthusiasts would be great ( i could not manage this on a monthly basis) but, and its a big but, and i would ask you to not take offence at my query, if this is a soft ploy to get more people through your salesroom i am not sure i am interested as u will understand.

Pop along to the monthly pub meet (sticky at top of Yorks forum). And, we do run the occasional Dawn Raid which involves great scenery, fast and VERY empty roads ... but a very early start.

I haven't been on one of burrianas runs for a while, but when i did they were great. I even have the mobile phone vid burriana did. i will join again in a few weeks when the weekend toy arrives

Mate, dont worry, I can think of far easier ways of getting people into the showroom than getting up in the middle of the night to be open early doors to greet everyone!

No, the reason I suggested our place is that there is loads of free parking (100 cars ish) and it is near both some of the best driving roads in the UK and also the A64 for people to head home on.

Thanks for invite...have been to one meeting near Leeds, back of pub, name of which escapes me and it was great ..remember a Hawk stratos and some TVRs and ferarri but it was a while ago....just been too busy lately....yes the ID is my car but i wasnt planning to use that on the run!

DP there is nothing wrong with my 1998 Renault Megane Saloon and i dont want any sniggering from u!!!!! When i told a car enthusiast the other day( drives a DB7) what i drove he answered " Now all your credability is gone!"
