Hi Gents,

This evening I witnessed (what seemed to be) a wee bit of red mist/road rage between a F430 driver and a chap in an old Jap car as was exiting of my local garden centre in Surrey.

If anyone here is the F430 driver, please don't get lured into stopping as you had done (seeing you were in front).

There is a massive military town nearby and 'Squadies' are abundant. Not that I have anything against our military lads, just they'd not think twice about following through on their intentions and would probably enjoy telling their mates about the laugh they had.

Being a long time admirer of the prancing horse, I'd hate to see one (or its driver!) get needlessly set upon.

Please be careful - There are folk out there that don’t like folk that drive nice cars :-(

Cheers,

DTC

Please don't tell me you're talking about Aldershot.

And btw this is the stupidest post I've ever read.

Why? The guy's simply showing some friendly concern.

I'm sure pretty much anyone knows whether they're in a "dodgy area" or not. And coming up with stupid comments about people from the Army beating him up or whatever is just stupid.

But hey, if the F430 driver appreciates the concern then who am I to say what's stupid or not? smile

You are so eloquent.

The area to which I refer is nearby and the fracas occurred in a more salubrious neighbourhood. If the F430 driver was not a 'local' he would be unaware of his less than immediate surroundings.

Also, due to possessing rather good knowledge on matters Army related, I can quite happily comment on the nature of some within, and what they may enjoy.

This is a public forum and it's not very polite to label a post as 'stupid' just because you have a lack of knowledge of the subject or situation.

I take your point but I do take offence at the Squaddies label, I have quite good knowledge as well, I am still serving!

Fair play - no offence intended. You will be more than aware of the behaviour (albeit occasional) of some then.

When do you sign your papers to get out? ;-) Been anywhere hot & sunny of late?

Ah yes quite, sorry for my lack of eloquence in my previous post, one had only just arisen from slumber and the old greymatter wasn't functioning to the maximum. Again, apologies squire.

I still stand by what I said - I am quite sure that the aforementioned driver of the supercar had been to places he has not known before. If he wishes to get into an argument then that's his own decision and he can face the consequences. If he is not a "local" as you put it, then he is unlikely to be in the area long - therefore eliminating the problem of a possible military coup against him and his Ferrari.wink

Worst "I saw an F430 in the area where I live yesterday" post ever.

I see the schools have ended and the holidays have begun...we shall now have to put up with prepubescent youth on PH. Ones that have just passed their driving tests - classic. LOL.

For someone so young and inexperienced you are overly opinionated.

Yes, well done, drop the old "you're young and stupid" one because you've got nothing to actually argue back. clap

I think I'll leave it at that.

Please do this forum a favour.

If you have nothing of value to add to a thread please don't bother. Security when driving these types of cars around is no joking matter.

I did not say you were stupid. As for argue? LOL. I need not argue. There is nothing wrong with the OP or the intent behind it. Have you read some or your questions though? LOL.

Yes, lets leave it at that - I have work to do...

Nope, it was (& still is) funny.

You are both correct though.

IMHO Since PH left our good Petrol Teds hands the moderation aspect has gone downhill.

Back on topic, I'd love to find out what all the fuss was about from the 430 driver (I doubt the other chap is a PH'er?) if he's here!
