Yes, that does seem to have lost rather a lot. I guess that's what you get when you buy a luxury car new frown

Well priced to sell.

Sadly, thats the way the price has to go at the mo if you want to shift it.

Arrived at my localish Ferrari/Maserati dealer this morning around 9am to get some things sorted out on my QP. I left at 12.20pm and not ONE punter had been through the doors to look at cars in all that time!

Dealers are now selling these cars for mid/late 70's, I guess they would only be bidding early/mid 60's if you were to trade in at the moment.

They seem to have dropped again in the last few weeks. Franchise dealers now have low mileage ones for 68-69k. I would imagine they'd deal in the mid 60's without much hassle. Non Franchised dealers would probably have to go a few thousand under that. Private, god knows, but don't see many advertised privately.

Think the bid on them must be in the high 50's by now frown/smile (depending on if your an owner/buyer).

Yikes. At these sorts of prices, they are getting very hard to resist.

Surely he could get 49k for it all day long next year?

I'd heard the the AM V8's have taken a fall too? Looks like there is some new metal to be had at bargain prices?

bounce I just hope the 355 hasn't dropped either.... although I may find it difficult to sell for other reasons. i.e. it would mean parting with it!

i have had my eye on the V8 past few weeks and prices are looking too good. But last night i was talking to a mate outside my house and GRANTURISMO went past..................im having a difficult decision now choosing between the two.

I know they are 2 different types of cars but love the looks of both of them. Which one would you say would be a better buy interms of depreciation? is this the best time to buy one or wait for a couple of months?

Surely an early V8 Vantage for about £50k isn't going to drop much more? I can't see these being sub £40k for a few years, I would imagine prices are going to stabilise around mid £40's to mid £50's. I think the GT prices have still got a way to go if the QP is any indication.

Its what im thinking aswell, GT still has abit more to fall on the price.............maybe V8 for the time being and GT later on. Alot to think about!

We all said this in the Porsche section about 996 TT prices bottoming out at £40k? They can now be had at £32k. I also looked at the Aston Vantage but they dont seem to get good write-up with regards to handling, reliability and servcing costs - only positive seems to be on the looks and noise alone. I predict these in there late 30's by the turn of the year.

Sadly Predictable.

Irrelevant of the current climate, have maser's ever been good at holding their value?

A future classic....I'm not so sure.
A Future Bargain....Abso-bleedin-lutley.

Where will this push previous models?

Personally I think year old GT's will stabilise somewhere in the 50's, high 40's at the least. Which is still a good 40%+ off list.

Anywhere below that and I can't imagine where the 4200/3200 will fit in.

Oh yeah. Brick attached to a skip of bricks chucked in a ocean trench springs to mind. Current climate is certainly making it a lot worse! It's a pity for both Masers, lovely cars.

DB9's are already in the mid 50's, what makes you think a V8 will be any different? Think 35's as a baseline.
