I've been looking at these over the last few weeks and prices are really falling.

I guess the trade would offer less than £90k for the the car you descibe.

Tom Hartley have a Blue 07/07 car that I think looks stunning for £109k which seems the best value out there at present.

I fancy a manual car and the white one at clinkard looks very nice but now looks very expensive.

In a few weeks I think we'll see a choice of cars under £100k.

Yes the Clinkard one does look good and now has come down to £110K, but you feel that there is a lot more to drop off these cars now, especially as 2009 is likely to be in recession. The £65k coupes seem a safe bet.

I have to say that over the last few years I have been astonished as to how little these £150k cars were losing from one year to another- as little as £10-15k per annum, which lets face it is nothing if you can afford to pay £150k in the first place. But now it seems that buying second hand will really come into its own - especially this winter!

totally agree - they have been priced too high for too long (even if the mileage is low). My golden rule is that in 3-4 years a car must be 50% of its original list price overwise its overpriced.
Six months ago, 2 year old 997 Turbos were asking £85-90K (i.e 85% of original list price). Now the same car is £75K (71% of original price). It seems that price corrections are not just confined to houses and the FTSE!.

Car prices are falling faster than house prices because people change cars more often, so the downward trend is accelerated (excuse the pun!). Tried to get a (3 year from now) residual estimate for finance on a used gallardo last week, and broker couldn't get one in 2 days of trying with finance cos.
