Sorry for the dull post but I need to clean and feed the leather of the seats on my 355 (creme with red stitching) just to keep them in the best nick possible

So what is the best cleaner to use is there something specific ?

Any advise welcome

Thanks
Phib

No brainer:

Gliptone Liquid Leather [EOL]

I will post some pics of my Esprit, before and after and my Diablo before and after, when I get home smile

Like night and day!

+1 for Gliptone as well...

...you should see the previously utterly knackered-looking seats of a 1976 Lamborghini Espada that I attacked with the same!

They were dry and cracked, more grey with age than black and healthy looking but look excellent now after the application of said fluid and a large dose of grease d'elbow!

No pix are available due to inability to raise arms above shoulder height with the box Brownie by the time the seats were done and also a lack of pre-treatment images to compare them to anyway, ho hum...

Another Gliptone vote here, or the Zaino Z9 & Z10 is a worthwhile alternative.

Assuming they still look as good as they did in feb then they dont need anything too dramatic. They stayed looking as good as they did by using autoglym leather care. Wipe on and then buff gently to a mat finish.

Hope your still enjoying the car! I still havent bought a new one and am now missing it quite badly!!

Hi Chris, Yes it still looks exactly the same and I am still loving it just flew through a service and mot.

The leather is still in excellent condition and I just want to keep it like that, shame you havent bought anything yet but I dont blame you with prices all over the shop

Assuming they are in good condition, try "Connolly Hide Care". Really rich stuff, so only do it once a year, clean with damp chamois normally.
Also noticed in the goods in deliveries when getting my 3200 serviced. Got mine from saddlery.

I always use the products of Woolies, the trim people. Great people to do business with and their products are second to none. Obviously just my opinion, but I've never had anything but great results.

Phib,

Good to hear all is well with the car. Where did you go for servicing in the end?

You are right about prices.

355's don't seem to be too badly affected at the moment, although of course I am going from asking prices rather than sold prices.

However, 360's have completely collapsed; I can now buy a red spider from 49995 upwards, which in feb would have been at least 59995. To be honest, I think by the time we get into the dark winter months and potentially worse economic climate they will drop quite a bit further.

Havent even viewed any recently as I have now decided to hold out till winter (not much of summer left now anyway). Lets face it, worse case scenario they will be the same price as now, but they certainly arent going to go up!!

First hot water with soap flakes....this will lift out any inground dirt..give it some elbow.....then repeat as same......then if you are not going to re colour apply any good quality feed, Then apply supa guard leather barrier....all you will need to do then is wipe with damp cloth fro next 12 months.

Have just spoke to a really good friend of mine and says that Pears Soap is the best ever for cleaning leather.

Finally uploaded the pics...

I put a piece of masking tape down the middle of the seat and only did one half so you could see Gliptone Liquid Leather at work:
