what to check on a 550?

Hi Guys and girls,
Apart from the obvious recalls, service history, general condition, hpi, bla bla bla,
what should I be looking out for on a 550? Anyone know any useful buyers guides, got any tips, know the weak points etc.
From what I can gather from searching here and other forums, they seem to be pretty robust and user friendly.
I know the ownership costs etc, but I am specifically wanting to know if they have any known issues which can be either used as bargaining tools or which if evident, should be avoided at all costs.
I'm just pondering at the moment as my Masser has served me well for 8 years with only the slightest hiccup
now and then, so I would be very sad to see her go, but I'm getting a Fezzer itch.

Test drive it at speed to determine if the Window seals work, the glass tends to drop forward leaving a gap on the top rear corner

Any smell of fuel in the cabin will probably mean perished breathers on the tank, a few hours to correct.

There were recalls for weak Wheels, Engine mounts and Steering racks.

Check the level of corrosion on the underside of the leading edge of the bonnet

Also check for corrosion on the sills and doors. I think most body panels are aluminium but can corrode (mine have near the wheels). I believe the door panels are steel and my drivers side has a couple of rust spots. Bargain hard!
