Rosso Vic is a kiss of death colour for resale on a Lambo. Doesn't suit it at all IMHO but each to their own. Not keen on the overdone interior either. 3 colours in such a small cabin is a bit OTT.

Anyway I think it looks much better on the LP640 than most of colour people here choose

There's a red/crema G for sale on Autotrader at the mo....I wouldnt have thought it would look good in tghat combo, but IMO it looks great!

I think they need black wheels; I think rosso vic looks awesome on both the Merci and LP560, makes a nice change.

not sure what red that is, but Rosso Vic can look very different depending on the light

Rosso Andromeda is solid red and Rosso Vic is metallic I believe. Your first pic looks more like Andromeda. I've seen an Andromeda UK car and it just does not look right on the Gallardo to my eyes. The fact that "most people here" would not choose it merely supports the residual value issue. Red Gallardo's seem to taker forever to sell even though are very few of them in the UK. I'm sure if you ask anyone at HR Owen or Sytner they would not be biting your hand off to buy a red car. Colour is a personal choice and if residual value is not a top priority then go for whatever you fancy.

Thanks. The spider draws a lot of positive comments as it's such an unusual colour for a 430. I hadn't intended getting a 430 but when I saw this car all rationale thought flew out of my head and I found myself buying it I've gone for metallic Balloon White on my LP560 as my previous 2 Gallardo's have been Bianco Monocerus (solid white) which is the LP560 launch colour. I'd ordered this colour before buying the Ferrari but am still more than happy with my choice as I think white (solid or metallic) really suits the Gallardo. I went for a black interior this time round for a change with q-citura diamond quilting and white contrast stitching. It should be arriving soon I should think as it was a July build car. Going to have to rethink my 500 Abarth order now as that was going to be pearl white too. I'll probably change to black with white stripes after seeing the test car in this month's Top Gear mag
