Has anyone had any dealings with Nuvola in West London - I'm thinking of looking at the Gransport they have for sale?

Never dealt with them personally. I know the guy is respected on another site. I personally dislike him as he pipped me to a beautiful 4200 in December then promptly made a killing on it! smile

The blue one he has does look nice and I believe his cars are well prepped. The price was reduced a couple of weeks back from £40k to £38k. If thats the one your interested in, Meridien also have one and have just knocked £2k off it this week. I was in Lyndhurst yesterday and had a closer look at it - its incredibly striking in blue with avorio! 22k on it IIRC.

I'm quite interested in that one at Meridian, just pondering changing in a couple of months. I've always been wary of Meridian though as they always seem rather aloof, even though at the time I lived in the locale I popped in a 993 Carrera 2S with a Turbo S body.

It is a lovely combination. Not sure about the spec though, I dont think its that big. I'm not sure they can afford to be aloof at the minute! smile

Thanks for the info. Went and test drove the one at Nuvola - very nice indeed. Good spec (from what I have seen advertised elsewhere?) Got a few cosmetic marks that need to be sorted out on the paint work, mainly on the front arches and on the rear quarter.

I have to say that the guy certainly knows his stuff and his garage has a full range of exotica in it - not all owned by him.

The car only has 9500 miles, has had the 6500 miles 1st service and he said that he is puttign the car into Lancasters for the annual service, will sort the body work issues and give it a professional polish. So the car will not need a service for another 12 months. The added benefit is that it has the remaining 12 months Maserati warranty.

I like the colour combo but it is very bold choice - I'd certainly stand out!!!!

Before I test drove - 80% head telling me to buy a 997, 20% saying take a punt on a Gransport - after test drive (OK after he hit the start button smile) 50% 997 50% Gransport - only down side is the colour combo as I said may be a little on the "bold" side - but I think that may be my head telling me to be a little sensible.

But I do agree that having driven a few 996/997 - the Gransport is pure theatre - maybe the remaining warranty may tip me over the edge - I'll keep you posted!

Go for the Mazzer, you know it makes sense, I was a long time Porsche fan, but have been converted, and am looking forward to getting a Grantsport later in the year.
