Right, I transported an F40 today for my new job. And it was black. From what I can understand about it, it was a red car and has recently been resprayed and is going to be on display soon. I cant say where as yet because I think its still underwraps (info to follow soon). But what I was wondering is are there many black F40`s around? I have never seen any others and not sure if any were actually made. All I know is that as a kid I had a model black F40.
about 15/16/17 years ago I was at the motorshow at earls court and upstairs there was a black f40
I was talking to one of the guys there and it was owned by a german and he ordered all his ferrari's in black and it was stunning, there was a red one near by too and to a 20 year old from newcastle seeing two f40's so close up I was in heaven
I have a picture somewere of it will try to find it
if I ever have enough money I would have one, to me it is THE supercar.

There's a black one in the Monaco thread on Ferrari Chat and that's slightly grubby looking. It seems to look all the sexier for it though! Imagine a really fit woman who needs a bath. Now, which end shall I start at? te from all the dust and pollen)

About 10 years ago Straight Eight off Goldhawk Road had a black F40. I remember it well as I took some photos of it - it was RHD and had a full black leather interior and had a brick-sized telephone installed. At the time they also has a plexiglass Daytona that once belonged to one of the U2 people.
