The promotional shoot is for a new UK 'Rally' aiming to begin next spring/summer.
The rally will be run each year in aid of charity.
A brief overview:
The aim is to take the 'rally' idea and turn it into a powerful fundraising tool.
Supercars attract attention - absolutely everywhere they go. A group of them in one place causes a buzz. People stop what they are doing and pay attention.
This is excellent for creating awareness and increasing charity visibility.
An orange lamborghini in the urban sprawl (accompanied by the noise) sticks out like a sore thumb.
The winner of the 'rally' will be those raising the most for the charity of their choice. Vinyl stickers for those charities will be worn on the cars.
We are curently finalising details but are very welcome to suggestions.
Maybe you are interested in getting involved in this bright, refreshing new event?

Hi Richard - interesting twist on things.
I've used my car for promotional purposes (a nightclub) and it's very true - parked in the middle of Camden for just 3 hours, Jay & I made direct one to one contact with quite literally hundreds of people.
Which town / city are you doing the promo shoot in?

The current possibilities for the first photoshoot are:
Marble Hill House
Wellington Arch
London Eye/ Waterloo
We have experienced difficulty in obtaining a permit for wellington arch and particularly London eye as these are all private grounds with public access and restrictions regarding photography and filming.
However we have recently been in contact with Richmond Council and there appears to be no problem with a photoshoot on these grounds.
There are a few disadvantages to this location however. This includes reduced public presence.
We are considering the possible effects due to this on the promo and are to finalise the decision in the next few days.
I will keep the thread updated regularly.
Many thanks to those e-mail replies I have received so far!!
Yours Sincerely

The current charities that we will be fundraising for are as follows:
Cancer Research UK
Help For Heroes
Great Ormond Street Hospital
Guide Dogs For The Blind
We feel particularly strongly for these particular charities, however that does not rule out ny others.
The purpose of the rally is a fundraiser for these and other charities every year. The itinerary for the rally will follow shortly. It may suprise many. And theres a few twists along the way too - just to keep things interesting.
It will only consist of 2-3 days initially and the first will be in the UK.
There will be considerable media coverage.
The advertising campaign is due to begin from October - however details and arrangments/events are still being finalised.
Many thanks
