Italian cars turn women on
Discussion
That's funny but they're really not telling us anything *we* don't already know!
What's more hilarious are the replies beneath it!
Every last one of them is from a sexually frustrated net-nerd who has absolutely no idea of what women are *actually* attracted to! As ever they presume it's a simplisitc equation of "money and power!". That's actually really insulting to women! While there are a small handful who are blatant gold diggers, most are simply attracted to all the 'alpha male' signals that something like a Lambo conveys!
Funniest comment was the guy who speculated that in future maybe women will be attracted to how quickly your computer will boot!
ROFL!
I wonder how many minutes of Star Trek he missed writing that?!

I am not sure this can be true in the way that they think!! I have 6 Italian cars 2x Lambos 1x Ferrari, and four woman in our house! ( one wife and three daughters, I think? ) Anyway, so far, they all think when i go to car shows I wear an anorak ( well it is usually raining) and that I can never go quickly as I have to stop to pick up pieces that fall off! Sadly being the only man in our house, i can only conclude that 'turn on' means 'turn on apathy' unless and until that invaluable driving skill I have 'dad's taxi' ( why did I buy them cars?) is required or some 'potential boyfriend material' needs a car tour! One day I would hope to be a male chauvonist, but don't think I will ever be allowed!

I experienced first hand the effect they can have on girls!
Both the Esprit and the Lambo (but even more so with the Lambo!)
I parked up outside a club I go to quite frequently and before I knew it, I literally had a queue of girls waiting for rides!
I have been fortunate enough never to have experienced this unfortunate "in-car-braking-system" I have heard tell of - they sound dreadful!
Supercars definitely push LOTS of the 'right buttons' for many girls!
Funfunfun!

You need to add a Maser to fleet then, 100% turn on rate according to that "research". The original report is below by Hiscox insurance.Paul ( aka anorak)

Just read the actual press release...
While it's blatantly scientifically questionable, good on them for trying a fun, cheap publicity stunt to try to buoy luxury car sales (and hence insurance policy take-up)
Utterly harmless and trying to achieve something.
I think the fact it is so questionable is part of what makes it funny. While it's blatantly scientifically questionable, good on them for trying a fun, cheap publicity stunt to try to buoy luxury car sales (and hence insurance policy take-up)

Of course they should have included a BMW 535d in the mix, that would have produced "real world testosterone" compared to the petrol cars

I do want to add a maser (Khamsin) to the fleet ( or the pile as the girls call them, sob!) And an Alfa Montreal and lancia Stratos so that I can have the main signature cars of Marcelo Gandini! Now if I had the talent and sophistication of him.............
I think I married one of your daughters! My Italian car gets called a "chav car" by the wife.
To class an Integrale as the same thing as a Scooby...brings tears to my eyes

..and to class something as fun as a scooby as a chav car brings a tear to mine!
There's a huge difference between a modded / modders car and a chav car!
Modder's car:

This car will have had serious money and some good workmanship lavished upon it. For all we know, being a ricer it could easily have 600+ lambo blitzing wasabi driven horses up it's jacksee!
Chav car:

Yeh - dats a kwolitee mowtah innit!

Hi
about the Khamsin for sale could you ask the guy who is selling it to get in contact if you know him? Am looking for a RHD manual car which doesnt need restored or work done and which has a solid engine with good compressions etc. Am down south for the Lambo club AGM and dinner on saturday and sunday and could swing by kent if needed!
If dont know him will happily try and find him. I havent yet told my wife about this idea! I suspect she will get realy turned on about it, as in animated, agitated etc! lol

Hi Paul,
Jim hosts the Maserati club summer lunch and has several Massers. It will undoubtedly be in excellent condition as he loves his cars.
Other than being a club member, I dont really know him, but the pub is renowned as a good seafood restuarant.
Give him a call on 01233 840371 and try to arrange something.
Good luck.
