I'm still smiling..........Gransport arrived!
Discussion
Finally after a long wait my Gransport was delivered today - oh my god!
Dropped the guy back at the station and spent the next 20 minutes with a grin like a school boy on my face. Driving to a wedding tomorrow so will give it it's 1st proper run out.
What a complete sense of occasion - got let out of the station car park, filled up with petrol and a random guy told me I was a lucky man (not sure if he was refering to the remaining warranty or not!!!)
Brilliant!
Thanks for all the advice on whether to go for the Gransport or the 997!

congrats. pictures , spec would be nice.
Grigio Alfieri Grey, Nero seats,Grey Wheels, Red Calipers - it is the car that GC Motors had up for sale.LE Spec not sure what it should or shouldn't have but it's got pretty much every thing!
I'll try and take some pictues this week. It's a June 2007 car with 7000 miles.
They delivered it to me and I have to say it looks like it has rolled straight from the show room! Balance of manufacturers warranty. Just been on a 200 mile trip this weekend and what a fantastic car!
Couple of questions tho'
1. Doesn't have any SATNAV CD's with it so head unit states that function not available?
2. Has the tool kit and air compressor but can't seem to find the locking wheel nut adapter - do they have these? Are they in a less obvious place?
3. Oil pressure gauge - I've never had one before - are they supposed to move i.e go from 2.5 to 5 dependign on what's happeneing etc? (may be a really daft question!)
I'll keep you posted as it will be my daily drive

satnav - need cds (think there's 3 that should come with it - assume you can get from becker... or fleabay)
wheel nuts - dunno - no spare so I guess you dont need to take the wheel off...?!?!
oil pressure - should move as you accelerate...ie up to max under acceleration and settle under constant speed...
Enjoy!!
