Just had a great trip home in my newly purchased gallardo! even spotted someone filming me on the m5 lol. am well pleased with the car and still can't believe what a bargain they are now. my car is reg dec04 yellow, glass engine cover, yellow calipers, branding pack,satnav/tv, yellow stitching.manual and has the bonus of a tubi exhaust. sounds awesome.
and the best bit is all this for 65k
A big thanks to johnny finance for the good advice.(top bloke)

The great thing about the Gallardo is I think it looks fresh and modern and really like it could have been released last week. Even though they are a few years old now.

Where as some other super cars for that money look a bit tired, 360 Ferrari for instance..

Great purchase smile

Wow awesome. I was actually looking at this add only last night!

May I ask how you worked the finance? I only ask cos I asked the same question a few days ago and got a few replies. 65k would be around the limit I would go for something similar.

PM me if you are happy to share but dont want to post to forum

Many thanks

Colin i managed to work the finance by means of going to the bank and chapsing 65 large from my account into the vendors.readit
sorry smug mode off and on a serious note i don't think it would be wise in the current climate to be financing this sort of money on a car. You'd be better off waiting till next year and investing in some property.
then give it a bit of time and you'll be in a better position to actualy own a supercar outright rather than financing.

It's even the same colour as yours!!

Really nice to hear someone happy also nice to hear someone actually spent some money and purchased a car, quite rare these days!! Mind you what a car and what a relative bargin - I was all set to buy this road rocket, all set until I went to see the Diablo which was very much on the dark side. No turning back now - hooked big time.

Great car, Martin. How do the shields look in real life? Never seen a lambo with those on it's flanks before (!).

I'm after a black or a greeen (!) one early next year. Are you worried about the clutch? Serious question, that's the only thing concerning me especially as I want a manual.

I know what the other poster was saying about Ferrari's looking dated, Gallardo's still look fresh. On the road they appear very small and compact but interesting from every angle. It's a real pity there are no beautiful Ferrari's at the moment. I saw an absolutely stunning 250 I think of some type outside my office this morning in Chichester. It was gut wrenchingly beautiful and made me wonder what on earth Pininfarina has been doing since the 355..

The shields look great and look factory supplied even though they are not and are the same as the Ferrari ones and not cheap tacky stickers....The sellers brother has the same ones on his 'G' and I beleive they aquired them as an order run for three cars...May be worth giving them a call...

Lovely mate. What I find interesting is how modern and current/new the car looks. At that price the equivalent Ferrari would be a 360 which looks like the 'previous model' now is.

Yes, my point above.

One reason I really like this car.

Lovely purchase and I am insanely jealous biggrin

Sometimes I wish I hadnt moved abroad away from the UK where cars are so so cheap(even brand new) and earnings much higher(ie more money to spend on a car)
