Ah ha! Thanks Andrew. Are we still on for Sunday? Cheers
Hi there,
I am going to be there most of the weekend as I am working as Team Photographer for one of the British GT teams.
A word of warning though, I was at the track yesterday for the Group C race and the whole of the infield was shut to spectators and media, apparently for redevelopment. Only people allowed over there were marshalls.
Not sure if this will still be the case next weekend, I have e-mailed them to find out. Shame as its great to have a walk round the track on the infield.
Regards
Tim

I will be there. Parking infield though. Already have tickets courtesy of some guy that works in the cafe lol. If anyone wants to join the run from Nottm on the Sunday let me know.
Hi there,Might be worth checking the parking as the infield was closed this weekend and I reckon this is going to be a long term arrangement.

Thanks for the heads up. I am not that familiar with Donnington as haven't been there for a couple of years. Please let me know if you get an email back as it would be useful to know beforehand. I will have a team pass so do you think i will be able to go where I please? Also are the pits accesible then?
Cheers

Good to hear it Will. Would be good to put a face to a name... I am staying at my friends in Burton Joyce that weekend(the chap who spotted the Zonda in Southwell recently)so we would love to join you.. Will you have room for a measley RX8 in the convoy? What are you going down in? Cheers

Adam,
No e-mail yet, but I am at the track on Thurday for the testing so will ask again.
On Saturday the only entrance was Gate 21 (pits and paddock). I was not permitted to take my car through the gate (even as accredited media), so had to walk from the car park (not to far). Then the pits and paddock were all open as usual, the only part closed was the tunnel under the track near the parc ferme area. Similarly the gate up at the top of the track near the exhibition centre was closed and all spectators were being directed to Gate 21.
