I saw this for sale on todays home page:
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/739744.htm
and wondered if this guy has heard of the credit crunch! He has it priced at over most dealer prices including F1 Spyders and newer cars, the spec looks good it does not say how many owners or mention any service history but is it worth 10K more than this private one owner with a service history to die for?

5k miles in 7 years, that cannot be good for it, I am hoping to buy a Ferrari in the next 12 months but I would never buy that car.

Agree not many miles but looking at the service history I think it should be a good one but that was not my bone of contention!

I feel that I hardly drive mine but I still manage to reach my 5000 mile per year dry mileage only limit.

Out of interest how many miles is too little?

I understand 5k on a 7 year old car is too little, but where do you draw the line?

My Business partner recently sold his 2001 360 modena F1 for £52,000 it was red, 14.5k miles, FFSH, recently serviced, so in response to your post, yes its overpriced, must be an error on the sellers part.

Doesnt appear to be an error on the sellers part. He's just reduced it to £61K.

Of course it wont sell but as it is his car, he is entitled to his free albeit unrealistic advert.

The car is worth around £45K in todays market.

With 430s able to be bought around the 75k-80k mark, a 5-7 year old 360 is not worth anything near 50k. Only someone completely mad would buy one at that price. Niether of the cars listed are worth 50k, 40k is probably right. Otherwise the 430 prices have no more downward movement left?

I was looking at the second link, the grigio alloy one !!! The silver one is still 61K too much me thinks in this current market.
