Some pictures from Fridays Lambo event
Discussion
So Lamborghini UK had a bit of a get together up at Silverstone last Friday
Unfortunately I only managed to stick around for the morning – but it was great weather and hardly anyone was using the track (do Lambo owners not like to drive their cars fast?)
I was really impressed with the Superleggera on the track - not so keen on the 560

Worryingly for Lamborghini, people were talking more about getting their arses handed to them by a certain CLK DTM in the afternoon than the LP-560 it's self!!
suprised? they are seriously quick
Have to say, that LP560 looks stunning in orange .. despite the subtle cosmetic changes I think the new Lp560 manages to make the Gallardo look dated

Apart from Paul's Murci, that looks like a Gallardo only event. What happened to all the other Lambos?
Perhaps Murci and Diablo owners dont get out of bed till lunchtime? There were more Scuderias there than Diablos
Looks like it was fun though. Did you say Lambo UK organised it? Don't remember Ferrari UK ever offering similar (other than the vastly overpriced Club Fiorano days)...
I was there too, in my 360 spider. Far more fun than the Fiorano days (which are certainly expensive, and not great value for money).
The Merc was awesomely quick. The owner had had it chipped to beyond 600 bhp.
I thought the 560-4 (which was on Stowe) was more impressive than the Superleggera. The SL was excellent in many ways but I thought the handling wasn't quite as good as a 360CS (let alone Scud).
The South circuit was pretty much deserted all day long.

I forgot it had been chipped! Not that it needed it before hand i can tell you! The power is relentless, i haven't driven anything that still pulls that well at 160mph+!!
Simply awesome and that's before you even talk about the sound it makes!!!
