A friend of mine is looking for something a bit exciting after selling his 996 Turbo.
He has his mind set on a Lambo Diablo Roadster.
Is the one at Top Gear cars the only one for sale at the moment?
Is the Roadster, simply a VT with a Targa top?
I know there are some Roadsters around in some pretty horrid bright colours. I think he fancies a subtle and classy silver or grey, although the Top Gear car looks gorgeous in dark blue.

This one looks lovely, and it is the only SV Roadster made.
At under £70k it looks cheap. I reckon that makes the normal VT Roadster worth about £60kish.

The roadster at top gear was mine, I can tell you it is a very good one and very fast, never had any problems with it at all, give carlo a call I am sure he will do a deal with you, I do know he has revamped the interior. As for the other one "No Comment."

Try Mike Pullen at Carrera Sport in Haywards Heath. There was a really nice black one for sale.

I think diablovt may be referring to the 'ex-Hong Kong one off factory built 6.0l roadster'!

•A Diablo Roadster (a proper, unb*gger*d-about-with one) should certainly be a resounding £70k, I reckon... (btw, they are great cars to drive with the roof deployed in any mode!). There were never any proper rhd SV Roadsters made that are around at this time - certainly none are for sale at the moment... Scuro blue has to be one of the best colours for any Diablo if the owner prefers to give an element of understatement! Quite like the idea of them without too much of the Alcantara inside as well, but hey ho...

•please note: the relevant word is 'proper' here - readers can choose to ignore such ideas or concepts as they may wish!

Sounds like a bsrgain! ( cut me in for half the sales commision)
am doing well thanks snd hope you are too?
Was of at the Scottish pistonheads Oban run on saturday and could have done with some Lambo company to demonstrate overtaking! Lol
Got pulled over by the police, well in fact as was driving the countach so hadnt seen them in the mirrors and had stopped to allow the rest to catch up along Loch Lomond side! They wanted a good look at the cars! One in your subtle hue would have been nice to really distract them!
Sorry for being totaly off topic! Met Funky from here who has a 6.0 sv. I want a VT though in subtle day glow orange!

I knew Jen was headed for Scotland but didn't know she was taking her 6.0... I thought all 6.0's were VTs????

She must still look the coolest gurl for a thousand miles driving her Diablo, amazing what little Irish girls can do hey?

- I can say that as my wife Angela and Jenny Funky share a nationality and are of a similar height!

edited to say, beaten to the reply re. VT-ness of 6.0 liter Diablos as well... doh...

...and indeed Tony's 6 is a VT and as of about 25 minutes ago I can attest to all 4 of it's wheels being rubber side down too! lol

That other Roadster *looks* nice - but it's for sale at Amari! redface

Do a search here for past threads regarding them and then go and by Jon's old car from Carlo at Top Gear Cars!

Hi
Jen came up and was touring in a moggie Aero 8 in a gorgeous multi green colour. See pics on pages 13-15 of Scotland page on here and then Oban run. I thought she said it was a 2WD? But i am quite deaf!
Didnt actually see her drive as we came from different directions. Guess she doesnt hang about then Jon! Don't know anyone else with a diablo 6.0 VT like that do we!
told my youngest about her choices of cars and she was impressed! Wants one too now. Are you selling yours! lol
