Question on Ferrari 456M GTA

Have been driving for a while now and noticed a noise when the car is idle in "P"ark mode. It sounds like a bearing - have had it checked and confirm it is not front, rear or torque tube bearings. The noise appears to be near gearbox/ split diff and not engine. Has anyone had experience of this - not sure if it is a problem or a common sound on the 456. It is not a scraping noise, or a thud etc, just a sort of worn bearing or slight coughing noise that then disappears when you put car in "D"rive. Any thoughts? If it is the auto-gearbox, any recommendations on who to see around the M25 area. Thanks

have your local specialist change the fluid and filters in the box and see if it makes a difference, if it needs replacement you may want to sit down with a stiff drink before asking how much!
