How easy is it to swap the steering wheel on a 348 ?

I want to put a smaller MOMO with a flat bottom on it so i
can get the column lower.

Easy.

I swapped mine with a 360 challenge wheel. Took 5 minutes to do.

You just need to be careful with the wires for the horn.

there are 3 horn contacts - i suppose you only need to use 1 for the centre on a new
wheel like the type i'm looking at.

The steering wheel is the same as my old integrale evo - that was 1 bolt to remove.

The 348 is about 6 allen keys.

As Sy says, dead easy, even I managed it!

Took the centre off the steering wheel last night looks easy.

I've ordered a Ferrari Challenge style suede MOMO with a flat bottom and a spacer from
Hill Engineering to bring it further out

Good choice ... it makes a real difference and is a great wheel.

All fitted - its transformed the car. It feels like you're playing an arcade game !!

I'm 6ft2 and found heeling and toeing difficult - now i've got loads more space thanks to
the spacer bringing the wheel just past my knees.

Its not too heavy at parking speeds either like i thought it would be
