Well i beleive all 06 models are the new spec (My06) The SE's were the new start of the new spec - they all came out late 05 / early 06....then the 06 reg was the new spec with more power ...i also beleive that they all had low ratio gear boxes, different exhausts (sound really booms from 3k) different steering wheels , different suspension, better lock (ie easier to do a 3 point turn in).... most of the new spec had callisto wheels but that is not a way of telling as i have seen my06 spec with normal wheels....visibly hard t tell but easy when you drive them ...i dont know anything else - sorry !!

For must have options i think the sat/nav audio system is excellent, as are callisto wheels ...the rest is take it or leave it although i have all bar the lifting system...rear view camera is handy but more for fun than parking as the scale is a bit odd and has still had some near misses for me !!

The front end lifting system is essential IMHO - gives better ground clearance than a non-PASM Porsche 997 - its standard in the US most probably because of our pathetic roads

Other options to consider:
