Was one of my SVs. Yellow D114BLO. Thanks. Was a guy taking photos of the pair. Gave him my email address as I dont have any of it since restoration. Will post them if they arrive.

The black Murci is Carol's Left hand late 6.2L car. Is very nice.

Saw that D114BLO car at Goodwood when it was registered P11 LAM, before the resto.
Not a fan of the kit-car yellow, but if it turns out as good as Pete's other one, it will look great.
Post some piccies Pete, when you can.

Carol's Murcielago is absolutely stunning.
Saw it at Goodwood a couple of weeks ago.
Nice lady. Had a long chat with her about the car and her others.
She told me that she has a 328 Ferrari and a Ford F150 Pick up for frightening the locals.

Kit car yellow?? God there's some weird comments on this site. Its original Lambo (PPG) paint and the original car colour. What have kit cars got to do with it? They immitate the original not vica versa. In actual fact almost all fake dibalos I have seen (mostly parellel designs) are in the pearl (non flat) colours as owner what's an updated look to what is generally an older dssign car. They have no car heritage to conserve regarding a cars original spec.

The SV was designed as high-power, lighter-weight no-frills car and suits the flat colour in my mind. Yellow on the SV is great as it contrasts with all the black paint that appears at the front and rear. The flat yellow is the most intense/brightest of the yellows including the newer pearls. Close-up the pearl is stunning, but coming down the road the flat yellow is like being thumped in the retina.

kit-car yellow? I'm still chuckling.

Thought was I stated was my opinion too and explained why the yellow. Can't see the problem.

Just seems that "kit car yellow" is a weird statement. You pick up many people on their spelling Jon. Noticed your punctuation was appauling and your grammar very poor.

Do I see D114BLO quite regularly parked in Chiddingfold? Did you not have that plate on the Black Murci?

Thank your friend for me.
I have just bought the new rear pair. Paid £320 each.
Hope JDWCD doesn't take offence at me telling you. He seems touchy tonight.

I was going to say hi, but I wasn't 100% sure it was a PHers car.

Touchy? I think I will stay out of this one wink

Pete, the poor guy was only expressing his opinion on the colour.
Don't take it so personal.
I can see this turning into another pink car thread.
Calm down.

Well said there.
Pete, I simply said that I am not a fan of the yellow.
Not detracting from the fact that it is a great car in great condition.
The "kit-car" statement was purely because I have always associated really bright yellow with kit cars.
A Lambo is so "in your face" in the first place. The yellow just seems a little bit over kill.
The black Murci on the other hand looked mean and moody and just understated enough.
Just my humble opinion.

Was perfectly calm guys. try reading my post again. JDWCD is a friend messing around. My reply was factual and explained why the car is what it is. I only said that it's a weird thing to say that Lamborghini yellow is "kit car yellow". I'm sure I'm not the only one that would consider that a strange comparison and an unnecessary put down of the colour. As the thread was about MY CAR, I beleive I'm entitled to respond? I'm fully aware how some of you guys like the opportunity to give me greif no matter what I type. It's as though you don't want owners to talk about their cars with a passion.

One car is pink, the other is a kit car colour. Just sg off the scuro blue one now please and I'll be happy.

Odd statements, I always think Lamborghini's should be loud colours, the various Oranges, the various Yellows, some of the blues, se30 purple, Verde Ithaca etc...

I think Silver and Black shouldn't really be in the production colours - too understated! I mean, how much duller would this be if the colours were black or silver or navy or something

I love'em loud too. One of the benefits of owning a Lambo is that OTT is par for the course.
Steve, have you noticed how most of the 'so-called' fans on this site never ask about car performance, spec, handling etc, just only ever talk about the body colour. Guess they aren't really fans of the performance. Think they'd be happier looking through a dulux catalogue.
