For you reference I sold my 05MY with 19k on the clock, just serviced + new tyres for 62.5k.

I'd agree with below/above, the car you mention, is a high 50's not a 60k car. The 05's had internal engine mods which are worth paying for.

UV What were the engine mods on 05 cars? My car was registered mid dec on a 54 plate so i'm assuming mine is an 05my also?? I paid 65k for mine a couple of months ago though it only has 9k miles and has a very high spec with glass engine cover and tubi etc.

The main change was to the piston rings, which were changed due to excessive oil consumption on earlier cars. There were other things but they were incidental.

My car was well spec'd but didn't have glass engine cover, which I would have liked and was a 5k option I think, and a 7k retro fit when I asked. Your car will probably be an 05MY but you'll have to get Lambo to check against the chassis number.

Problem with the Gallardo is, there are a lot around and the book value difference between an 05MY and on 04MY is 6k+ apparently. People also forget that the basic service may be sub a grand but by the time you have done the little things it will EASILY double. I feel (well not really), for people looking to pick up a cheap G. just because the initial capital required is relatively low. Also most are probably bought with poor people currency. When you get a HPI done, look out for Ocean Finance as the funding company...

This car has been around for a while, went to view 2.5 months ago. Far better cars on market at far lower prices.

It doesn't seem to have much spec (in fact, pretty much nothing that wasn't standard). IIRC a lot of the early 'speculator' cars had almost nothing added to them. Nothing wrong with that, but price must reflect!

the wheels have just been to mike "the polisher" to be beautifully refurbed at 110 a wheel!! polished lip and painted centre and inner, they do look great!!

Surely your TT is worth selling as is? Are people that worried about a well looked-after car that isn't standard?

What's the world come to...

Hi Martin

Still love it, for me there is no logical step up the car ladder - Every time I go in the garage I always struggle to leave, never have I seen a car with such presence. Still only driven it a handfull of times covering approx 500 miles but with every single mile such an event cant wait to get out in it some more. First salt recently went down our way so car is staying put in its heated/dehumidified hotel

How is the G going done many miles? Bet your son has some new buddies now!

68k for an 04 car though. I appreciate its low mileage, but I do think that is over priced.
