This is a garage related Question…….

At home I have an inch (approx) gap under my garage door. This allows all sorts of crap to blow in under it i.e leaves, dust and stuff!!
Also, when it rains water then runs in.
My question is, have any of you bright sparks out there got any ideas what I can screw / bolt / glue down in order to fill this gap?
Are there any companies out offering solutions for things like this, as I guess that I can't be the only person with this problem!

Many thanks in advance

Ian

There is a special stip that you can buy which screws to the bottom of the door. I think they advertise in one of the classic car mags.

two options

1)dependant on your door manufacturer, there is a "brush"available which clips into a groove on the bottom of the door
2)screw a piece of 2x1 to the floor directly behind where the door stops

assume you have a up and over door?

Or cut a length of hosepipe, slit it open and screw to underside of door smile

Although that Weatherseal does look quite smart.

Al

AWS products seem to be very good and what I got was top quality stuff. I don't have an up & over doors so the pipe method was not for me.

You could do with the gap at the top of your door sealing biggrin:

I like the tiles on your floor my next project(after the new kitchen that I have given into) will be to tile the garage smile

Cheap skate - fit an insulated motorised roller door - fits tight to floor and keeps you P&J nice n snug.

No, but I have observed similar with a different car. Feline launch control is very impressive.

I guess that means your SL is De-catted now? smile...er...or rather...getmecoat

Anyway, any feedback from OP on option taken up?
