I find it hard to grasp the concept that someone is selling an SV roadster and marketing it by saying "the best built, best looking Diablo of all time". Apart from my own personal opinion that the 6.0 is the best looking Diablo, the car for sale has a GTR kit on it, so it's not original and that's where that quote came from.

I know it's a sort of famous car because of how rare it is and it's been a featured magazine car etc but I think it looks crap as it is, and check out the shut lines....

Was it front ended, hence the 'conversion'?

YOUR STARTER FOR 10:

This 'conversion' was completed by which person?

tick, tick, tick, tick...

clue: usually there's a small sticker in the back window...

Definitely not the best looking Diablo of all time. The roadster looses quite a lot of the sleekness about it as a result of that removable hardtop.

The best looking Diablo in my honest opinion is the SE30. It is the ultimate looking car combining lightweight/racing aspects to beauty that will not be beaten. The 6.0 is second to this but is still quite a bit off.

Agree totally with this.

My love of the SE30 is why I bought this SV. Has all the SE30 body parts plus JOTA-like SV scoops. Intend initially to re-paint it in the the 30 purple too, but the shiney scuro has grown on me.

Would go for the SE wheels, but the SV has the bigger brakes and the wheels won't fit over them I believe.

Looks nice Pete.
Does it still have the L14BLO plate on it?
When I spied it at Goodwood, it had a L14BLO tax disc but the TOO 600L plate fixed.
I remember it when it was for sale on PHs. If I remember correctly, you managed to steal it.
Well done that man.
Looking very good now.

Looks nice, but I would lose the dark blue and paint the wheel centres black.
Now you mention the L14 BLO reg, I remember the car.
Nice little collection there Pete.
Shame the Veyrons and F40s turned up though.

Personally, I reckon the 6 litre is the best built (Audi) and best looking Lambo ever built.

You must be joking! I only went to see those cars. Amazing cars. I have no worries that my toys are not the best most expensive cars on the planet. They are worthless compared to what some people are prepared to fork out for. Feel very content with what I've acheived thanks.

A kind PH'er sent me this link of my cars leaving.

Black wheels only on very light coloured cars. What colour do you recommend? I already have 2 bright one. Infact several people on here were slating bright colour lambos saying dark is the only way to go. Appreciate your thoughts. I fancied the 30purple due to the skirts, but once you're up close, the scuro is quite nice. Proabably gonna give the car away cheap.

mmmmm, give me a moment. The car is spot on now. Prob let it go for 50K though. Can't bring myself to advertise it. Is the best drive of all 3 in many ways.

What if I threw in a Skoda too? Thought not.

Looks like I'll have to settle for taking photos of it then ... biggrin

scratchchin To disappoint and maybe put a breakers on the whole deal - Flat (170k in Southsea), 996 - (£15k) - I am a realist in both cases. What do you reckon?!....

Thought not, damn!! getmecoat

mmm, I'm tempted so long as the 10% share of the flat includes the area occupied by the food cupboard.
As you're just in Southsea, pop by one afternoon, I'm 15 mins north of you.
