I am thinking of buying a gallardo which would have 1 year of manufacturer's warantee remaining. So a couple of questions:
1) I assume I need to get it serviced only at Lamborghini dealers during warantee period otherwise it will invalidate warantee?
2) Once outside warantee, is it detrimental (e.g. resale value) to have it serviced by an independent?
Then (cheekily adding a third question!!!) if it is OK to get servicing done by independent
3) Any recommendations within (say) 50 miles of Surrey?

Many thanks in advance for any help or guidance as really tempted to buy one but dealer servicing costs seem high compared to the ferrari.

try the guys at www.route324.com

Its run by enthusiasts and they will know about servcing in and out of warranty.

As far as I was aware as long as the service is carried out to the manufacturers guidlines and uses the correct OEM parts then it shouldnt invalidate your warranty.

Many thanks. I had a Tubi fitted to 360 by Verdi and I noticed they had a gallardo in which they were working on. Anybody used them for work on their Gallardo? Views about them or any other Independents?

There are so e very good indies who will be far cheaper than main dealers. I would have no problem letting them carry out repairs, but I will always use main dealers for servicing. Come resale time the number of prospective buyers is small, I wouldnt like to reduce it further by not having a full main dealer service history.
