Team Modena to race Ferrari F430 GT2 in Le Mans Series 2009

This is one for all you Ferrari fans.

Team Modena (who are ablely assisted by Graham Schultz and the team at Lamborghini Wycombe) are making the move from GT1 to GT2 next year in the fantastic Le Mans Series championship.

This year Team Modena have run an Aston Martin DBR9 in the GT1 category taking three wins out of five starts en route to finishing second in the championship.



Due to the imminent demise of the GT1 category as more and more teams pull out Team Modena have made the decision to campaign a Ferrari F430 GT in the highly competitive GT2 category for 2009. They may also run the F430 GT in Le Mans if they are granted an entry.

Team Modena are still to confirm their plans for the 2009 British GT season.
