No it won't. Things that go round don't have any reciprocating weight.

Sure the car they put it on was fast. No way a standard Diablo though. Bet it was some Japanese twin turbo or alike.

A light weight flywheel does make a difference with revving but the best difference is when it is ballanced with the crank.

The car could have had a short ratio box as well!!

The standard 6.0 has a 0-60 of 3.9 seconds, if you can get it off the line without burning the clutch.

That's true. Not always a good thing though. Having a superlight flywheel makes things a right pain moving off. Generally with things like flywheels on supercars, I usually think that the Lambo development department put the standard flywheel in for a reason, backed up with lots of development hours. Then again.... wink

Have you seen the standard 6.0 exhaust box, I have and also cut my hand open on a nice sharp piece of metel sticking out the top, So it does make you wonder.

A lighter flywheel reduces the rotational inertia, it has no effect on reciprocating mass as it's not reciprocating, it's rotating.
