348 Dash light on - HELP PLEASE..........?
Discussion
Morning Guys
I started my 348 tb yesterday as i'd not ran it in over a week. It had been on the battery conditioner and everything was fine. After it had been running for about 5 minutes it sounded like one bank of the engine had gone down. Sure enough i had a warning light on the dash ' SLOW DOWN 1 - 4 '.
I switched off the engine and tried it again, the light stayed on and after a couple of seconds the right bank went down again.
I washed the car off last Saturday night and put it away - the only thing i could have thought would have happened is it could have got damp in the coil pack ?
After wiggling the plug leads around a bit i then started the car and went for a 20 minute run and it drove fine.
The light is now still on - is there any way of turning this off without going to a specialist / dealer and them charging me a fortune ?
Thanks
Simon

It's almost certainly water getting into the cat ecu - certainly can't be the cat overheating
When I de-catted mine I couldn't get the old thermocouples out the of the cats so I just left the whole system disconnected to stop the slow down lights staying on all the time.
