Hi,

Thinking of selling one of my diablos in the near future and reckon that my best option may be to advertise on sites that are popular abroad. Does anyone on here have any experience of this?

Pete > normally eBay, putting 'will not sell outside the UK' will attract hundreds of bids from places as far away as Nigeria! wink

Ok will have a look. There is only one car like mine in Europe and it's for sale. Thing is, it's double the price that I'm looking for my car. As my car is the only right hand drive one, (2 left hookers in the US and the left hooker euro car), I thought abroad may be a good idea? South Africa, Oz, Japan?

Just early thoughts at the moment, nothing definite.

Have you thought about giving it to someone like Verdi's to sell? IIRC a few cars of theirs are not stocked there and are merely on commission basis, but with their customer base it may get exposure abroad?

Hi, I could look into that, guess it depending on their commission.

Hi Pete,

I could probably help with advertising it in Japan if you wanted to do that. Its worth mentioning that they would probably prefer a LHD car though (its a slightly odd status thing there). But there will always be someone who wants a RHD one if you can find them - my RHD Alpina B12 came from there and its also the only one ever made.

Cheers,
Bryn.

I have found www.Sport-Prestige.com is best for France and www.autoscout.com is good for Germany, Italy.
