Going to be interesting to see if this thread is moved. Last month i put up a similar thread with a replica Lamborghini on ebay. It was moved to the kit car section.
Mind you now i have commented it will be moved because the man will want to be seen as fairbiggrin

LMFAO!!!

People's ability to be completley oblivious never fails to entertain me! X-D

"THIS IS THE LAST TIME I AM PUTTING THIS CAR ON EBAY"

What? You mean it didn't sell the last 5 times? I'm sure there's nothing to be read into that!

"SO GET YOURSELF A BARGIN"

Starting at TWO THOUSAND POUNDS?!?!?! I don't think so you delusional f**khead! hehe

...and that quality spelling continues throughout the advert!

I'm trying to think of a suitably sarcastic and comedic term of reference for the engine but I really can't think of anything capable of describing just how BAD it looks!

Hoover? Anvil? Industrial Generator? Nope! They're all hugely inadequate to describe THIS:

LMFAO!

How about a train wreck fail?

'A real head turner'...yup, in the same way the Elephant Man was. I have never, ever understood the whole replica car thing. For what that cost him in real cash and time he could probably have bought a tatty 348 (for example) and done it up.

Ok on second viewing, maybe not what THAT particular piece of crap cost him!

You don't like it then, Robin? :-)

I quite like the spelling. 'Tuck' was inspired.

The seller is offering to answer all questions: What would you ask...?

It is a truly horrible car, and yet you choose to attack spelling and the gem of an Alfa Romeo boxer 4 engine which has sadly been subjected to this abuse?

It also powers nice things.

Isn't that a Karma. Was a cheap VW floorpan based car in the 80/early 90s. They were never marketed as a replica, but styled to look like a familiar car. At the time there was a manufacturer of a replica that was mega bucks in comparison. For the money they were a fun car in the day. Think the kit was about just over a grand.

How can anyone be suprised that their stuff doesn't sell on eBay when they can't even spell basic words that a 7 year old could do in their sleep?

bargin?
tuck?
Chassie?
Liter?

LOL!

OK, they are a lovely engine to drive but even I have to admit that one looks like it was used as a toilet.

OTOH, I don't remember Ferrari making a flat 4 so I guess it makes the car sound as odd as it looks, quite apt really smile

Besides the lower centre of gravity... are there any other advantages (or disadvantages) to a boxer engine over a 'V' engine?

'Spose they could strap 3 of them together and claim to be a Tesatrossa Replica! hehe

It's overpriced but I can't really see why so many people insist on hating the karma .. ok so it's proportions are a little bit challenging, but its not the ugliest thing in the world.
As rightly said above its got a peachy alfa flat 4 in the back.
The interior (though pics are fuzzy) looks to be complete which is rare in a cheapo kit car, and the car appears all one colour.

If it was 1000-1500 it would be a nice little buy for someone wanting something a little bit different.

The only thing I can see wrong is the price.

Looks just like a Cox GTM, except I think that predates the Dino. Maybe Pininfarina copied the Cox.

I think C of G is the main part of it, though a true boxer has pistons always accelerating away or towards each other so the engine is naturally well balanced. The Alfa one was designed by an Italian who apparently used to work for Porsche but got home sick so basically designed a Porsche engine for Alfa (so the story goes).

Don't make such jokes in case someone tries wink

On second look, I think the problem with this kit is the glass is all wrong. The body shape doesn't look that far out, but looking at the original the windows are very much part of the styling. Shame.

Something to remember too regarding this being cheap fun, the insurance on this is probably reasonable even as a teenager. If your choice was this or an old 1.1 Saxo where would you put your money?
