Hi all,

Thought i'd say hello. I've watched pistonheads for years but never really contributed and decided its about time i did.

I've just taken the plunge and agreed a deal on my first lambo. A bright yellow murcielago.

To say i'm excited is a massive understatement!! Walking around with a permanent grin on my face. My wife just thinks i'm losing the plot and my 5 kids think its just awesome. Each one has already booked me for the school run!

I could jabber for ages about how excited i am, but wont bore you. I reckon i should have it in next couple of weeks.

Look forward to chatting/meeting some of you.

Paul

Congratulations Paul and welcome to the dark side.
Now you should consider joining the Lamborghini Club, some great people there and many live in your area.

Be great to get together for a convoy leslie, ade/lou.

HI Mosi, yes it is the car from Dion.

I took the recommendation to use elms collection from all the comments on here. I must say im very pleased, as he has been very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

I would happily recommend Dion and use him again

Just waiting to hear when the car will be ready.

Going to give the garage a tidy today in preperation!!!

Cheers Robin, never thought of it like that, but oh so true!!!!

Just looking into getting it detailed so its completely mint throughout. I've had my other cars done in the past and i think its money well spent.

One other question, (and i promised my wife i would not spend another penny) is eurosparese best place to get wheels from. I'm considering changing to the hercules style wheels. or does anyone know if where i could get a good deal from?

Thanks

Paul (a 36 year old man who currently is acting like a 5 year old at christmas, can't concentrate and who's family think has lost the plot completely!!!!!!!!!!) :-)

Hahaha!

Awesome!

I would certainly ask and shop around - I don't know what options there are wheels-wise in terms of vendors but I have found that it REALLLLLY pays to spend a few evenings doing research and shop around!

(Eg. As posted recently - I cut a £2000 parts bill down to less than £200!!!)

Hi Paul

I believe the Eurospares wheels aren't factory issue, but replica's they have commissioned . I don't know if this is a negative tho . Welcome to the dark side.

Thanks for thayt Johnny5. I've decided to enjoy the car first for a while before i go changing anything. Also gives me a chance to have a proper look around to find original wheels. I must say sir thats an impressive collection of cars you have.
