This credit crunch malarky is starting to play with my mind. Newer cars seem to be dropping at a far quicker rate than cars a few years old and now i'm being tempted by all sorts of exotica. Tom hartley has a 57 plate superleggera for 99k! lp640s are suddenly looking like an option as are ferrari 599s. I can see the bank balance being seriously hit if this keeps up much longer.

I know what ya mean Martin. The newer cars have dropped a hell of a lot! I started looking at an early G but I reckon I could stretch my budget to an 05/06 plate with current prices. Some of the sellers with older cars haven't followed suit yet but I doubt they'll sell unless they do. There certainly is a car for every budget!

Hopefully I'll have flogged my Boxster and 'joined the darkside' by spring!

Meaning?? My original statement was only meant in jest - I have to graduate in a year, find a job, work my way up a bit to decent salary, get on the property ladder and then start looking at nice cars, all without getting a family on the way hehe Things aren't looking good frown

Lp640s haven't fallen anything like enough yet (for my liking) but at least the premium nonsense has come to an end. For whatever reason the Aston DBS is falling like a lead balloon at the mo, there are new cars around asking £129k that's 40k off list. The db9 seems to be holding up much better. I wonder why? It's gotta be worth 20k more than a db9? I'd rather have an lp640 but a DBS for 50k less would be hard to ignore.

now, listen to this a few times and go and stare at your Lamborghini for a bit...

see any resemblance in the air intake bits 'n' bobs or at the angles and corners of the car to the image in the video...

now, come back indoors, listen to the above again for a while - full blast!...

...a slightly more coherent explanation will follow from somebody soon, for sure...

Martin hang fire, wait 6 months, and you will be able to buy 18month old LP640 roadster with 2k miles for a mere 120k not bad when list price is more than 200k,better still the car should be VAT qualifer so claim the vat back. The car market is on its knees and with the current economic down turn 30% of independent lamborghini dealers wont be here,so hang on there buddy as I to am tempted to go and splash out,but alrerady feeling the pinch of trying to sell my Gallardo, fortunally i dont have monthly repayments so i can wait.

Rocco has your car been on autotrader at all? When i was looking for a gallardo i saw one exactly the same as yours??Also how does this vat qualifying malarky work on cars??I am vat registered but can't imagine the accountants allowing it??

Moving over to Porsche is also referred to as going to the Dark side ... and can only assume it is something to do with both marques being German wink
