Well I thought it was awesome. Quite interesting about the workings of the 4x4 system. Wish I had the balls to buy a car that colour.

Nice car...

Nice colour...

Shame about the c**k behind the wheel!

Let's look one the bright side - at least it wasn't the annoying beardie tw@!

That countach review/test drive was also on TVs M&Ms tonight. Does anyone on here own the black one in the show? The review was not bad and the car looked great.

I'm still not convinced about the brilliance of the Gallardo's 4WD system.
In the final donutting shot, the car is quite clearly only spinning its rear tyres, with the fronts just stationary as they would be in a RWD car!

What sort of system is that?! It's as if there is an open diff between the front and rear axles which means you might as well not bother.

I must admit that did catch me out in drives I've had of the earlier Gallardos. There would be the sort of understeer you would expect in a full-time 4WD car and then suddenly, in a low-grip corner, the tail would swing wildly out as if there was no 4WD at all.

Looked and sounded absolutely awesome mind you!

He irritates me. With his perma-tan, white Tiff helmet and that every time he 'reviews' a car it's just smoke, power slides and bald tyres.

It's not informative, educational or interesting. He's like the middle-aged fat bloke you meet at the pub who bores everyone going on about the track days he's been on! It would be interesting if you did but watching it is dull.

Apologies if you are a Tiff fan, or you are married to him. Heaven forbid. He's right up there in the annoying stakes with Jo Wiley.

Doesnt the LP560 have a '4WD-but-RWD bias' of sorts?

Like any donut where you don't want to fly off in every direction, you hold the brakes slightly so the fronts stay still.

I don't know what kind of donuts you've been doing, but in my misspent youth they never involved the brake pedal!
Plus you can see the front wheels rolling in the video, they're not being braked.
