Yes, beautiful car. Was it the one on The Real Italian Job or not? That one had wing mirrors, this one doesn't have any. You own the car don't you?

I don't know which car drove up the hill side during the start of the Italian Job film opening credits or if indeed it still exists - the car that was puched off the cliff was little more than a body buck - an unfinished genuine miura body from bertone but with no engine as you see when it fragments as it falls down the hillside.

This is mine & to a very similar appearance to the Italian job car - much better specification though!

And those mirrors spoil the line of arguably the most wonderful car to ever grace the road.

PS Why the locked thread threat? Can't users post advert links here?

No, I meant the show on BBC2 recently about chef James Martin and the Mille Miglia (have I spelt that correctly?).

You mean that god awful "celebrity" chef buys POS and retires from Mille Miglia after 100 miles Xmas TV event thing?

Couldn't watch it - but did fast forward through the lot to see the cars - excruciatingly bad TV - the car featured was an item in a Kensington classic car showroom - I have some photos somewhere of it and the Sir Stirling SL - miura sold some time back - shows how old some of these TV events are.

Mine's like that - only much much better.

Ye, that's the one! 20 miles i think! The miuras look very similar, and ye, yours looks stunning!

Phroar. Lovely stuff.

I still reckon Miuras are vastly undervalued. Granted they don't have the race pedigree of say a Ferrari 250GTO or similar, but £300k for a car which is ALWAYS up there in the most beautiful cars ever made? Relative bargain! The original movie Italian Job made them a true poster car.

Always been my dream car, just hope I'm able to look after one for a few years in the future.

Wasn't a threat smile

It can happen when people link their own adverts...

Would think you might get away with it though wink

By threat I meant reference - nothing sinister implied.

Mirrors in a box - can't bring myself to drill holes in car and put them on - many left factory without & surprisingly you don't miss them or need them.

LHD driving position seems to take advantage of all the cars strange sight lines - the cars only driving drawback is you sometime hypnotyse other drivers & they drive too close - Trad. italian greeting out of window usually sorts this out mind.
