Not sure about alternatives but Scuderia Systems have sound clips of all the Tubi systems on their web site

One of my clients fitted a Tubi LM system (the loudest!) and it sounds absolutely fantastic. Bob Houghton supplied and fitted it.
As an aside Mike, if you know of anyone who can supply replacement seat material for the F40 I'd be grateful to hear from you. The one suggested to me from the States isn't quite right.

I am a bit nervous with the LM system (a bit noisy for the neighbours, lol) so have asked Macari's to fit the muffler system for me as they are doing some other work on the car. It is the one they also recommend so I am more than happy with that.
Many thanks for the advices - much appreciated.

Hi
I am looking for an aftermarket exhaust for my F40 (still has the standard one at the mo) and wondered if anyone has any ideas.
I have been told that the Tubi system is pretty good but don't know if there are any that are better.
Too quiet for you then? For me the sound is the main attraction for me with supercars and there's nothing that tops the F40 at full chat, well maybe the CGT.. Please get an exhaust that sounds like this:I am looking for an aftermarket exhaust for my F40 (still has the standard one at the mo) and wondered if anyone has any ideas.

Hopefully it'll persuade you to add an F50 to the collection too

Please post a vid of it with the new exhaust..
Cheers

Mike,
Please let me no what you think of the systeme once you have it fitted to the F40 as I would like to go down the same route? Is your car a cat or none? as I would like to remove my cat to eather sport cats or straight pipes. I have had Hyperflows fitted to a Stradale before and they were fantastic quality. They also do Hyperflows for the F40! wich I think would be great along with the Tubi? I just cant decide to have the LM or silenced ones. Your coments would be greatfull welcomed.
Mark.

Which out of the CGT & F40 do you think sounds the best on the standard systems?
That's a tough one. Someone posted a clip on YouTube of me giving the CGT a bit of a rev. This is with standard pipes and sounds ok to me. Trouble is that you can't really hear how good it sounds when you are in the car driving - I am told by all who follow that it is very impressive though!Which out of the CGT & F40 do you think sounds the best on the standard systems?

The F40 is a pre-cat car and therefore sounds better anyway with the stock exhaust. I do have a clip on my phone but can't seem to get it transferred to my pc, but again it does sound ok.
I guess the V10 on the CGT has the edge.
Although I am having a muffler Tubi fitted on the F40, I have also been offered an LM version (came off someones racecar). As long as they are fairly easy to fit then I can change them at will. Now that will be a good comparison

Hi Mike,
A friend of mine had a Tubi on his F40 and ended up taking it off again due to it being too loud. So just be aware that it will be difficult to talk inside the car if you go that route.
But I see you've had a Stradale which is unbelievably loud as it is.
I love Stradale by the way. When the exhaust valve opens you really get a sense of occasion like no other car, CGT included just IMO, although the CGT aggressiveness more than makes up for the less noice
What sector of business are you in by the way if I may ask? Impressive to buy an F40 in this climate.

It can't be as loud as the Stradale hopefully. That was/is a great car but was impossible to drive at anything approaching normality. The paddles also made it a bit too easy - I now prefer a conventional shift, but that is a personnal thing.A friend of mine had a Tubi on his F40 and ended up taking it off again due to it being too loud. My kids loved it though

I would like to think I have 3 of the best cars around at the moment, and although essentially very similar, are really 3 very different beasts. I love them all to bits and feel very privileged to own them.
I will put up a post in the near future of the F40 as a few people have asked me to do so.
My businesses are based around insurance, finance, and claims management. It has taken 25 years but worth the effort in the end. I bought the F40 now as it is such a good example and didn't want to miss the opportunity. I don't regret a thing
