I am looking at treating myself to late Gransport but want to buy at the right price to limit my depreciation Prefer to buy from a Maserati dealer and they are around 40k ish. How much should I be paying. Cheers for any advice.

I recently bought an 07 nicely specced, v low mileage GranSport at a helpful main dealer, with nice warranty period remaining.

All very pleasant and 2k off as I remember, although I would push for a little more now perhaps as things seem to be getting even more bonkers economy wise...

Hey Peter, was that you who mailed me about mine (in the sales section)? I did reply, may be it didn't get through.

From a dealer 38-40 seems to be the point & lots of them are holding at that level. Mine's up for 35k which is a significant saving, especially considering it's still under warranty. Let me know if you want to chat about it.

Lovely cars, I can't recommend them enough really - thoroughly enjoyed ownership so far, to the point where I'm considering hanging on to it for another year. So far it's proven bullet proof & it seems to be par for the course on the 06/07 cars which is a testiment to Maserati's effort on quality control these days.

either way, you'll be grinning from ear to ear if you bite the bullet! biggrin

From my experience, dealers are holding firm on GS prices due to limited availability. There does seem more available in the last month, than in the previous 6 months, and outside of the main dealer network. ADG and Nuvola are the two main specialists, and have both been highly recommended elsewhere. My advice would be to ensure you've got a cast-iron warranty outside of the 3 year period.

Does this now mean that you can get an official Ferrari/Maserati warranty from a dealer for cars up to 9 years old??? Does this also cover the clutch, CC and F1 box issues.

PS - How long is the standard manufactures warranty on a GS.

thanks

yup, it's official ferrari\maserati cover & it covers full manufacturers upto 5 years then steps down a little every year or two. The engine & box (inc F1 system) can be covered for 9 years.

Egham have all the details
