Can you push your car onto the road? If so then grab a mate who has AA membership, and ask him to make a call. If your car engines running then warm it up if you like. Being that your mate is a passenger in the car when it broke down, the AA will transport you your mate and your car on a low loader to anywere in the UK. And at no cost. Do this or pay through the nose.
Unless your car is in bits, if so then ignore my post biggrin

Mmmmmm I suppose it could be a tad cheeky !!!!

I'm a member of RAC and they come out and arrange pick up ASAP through their prestige department as they won't even attempt to look at the Lambo, they just say lift it and into what ever dealer anywhere !!!!

cheapest way of transporting a Lambo anywhere if it develops an intermittent fault, or needs a service, even covers you at home whistle

AA,RAC its all semantics really. But that's the idea. But it only covers the card holder if the recoverys at home. So ring that mate if your not a member.

yeah either one but I think AA only does relay where the Rac will take you from A to B in one hit..

yes it is only card holder at home

No AA wil as well, i have done this with them only last year. They will atke you anywere in the UK on a low loader.
I broke down in Wales (Black Rock) and they bought me back to Lincoln straight away. Once i told them it was a Ferrari they organised the Lowloader.

I've used WT Recovery (near Chatham or Maidstone IIRC) for my Esprit on 2 occasions. Straight chap. Won't charge through the nose - a bit less than 'the going rate'

Not covered though.

We can help smile Based on the Suffolk/Norfolk border so easy enough for us to get to you.

We've got 2 artics with full length flat floor tail lifts for really low access or various options for covered trailers including a low entry trailer.

Let me know if you need a hand

Just for info

When asking for a quote for moving a vehicle, the word low loader in the recovery world, tends to mean heavy lifting for hgv's etc.

If it's for a car, use the word demountable, this means the bed doesn't just tilt, it lowers to the ground allowing supercars access onto the bed without taking the front bumper apart. I have pushed a dead Miura onto a demountable bed before.

All the recovery orgs have access to them, either their own, or subbing it to a local recovery company. Mostly they are uncovered unless they transport high value cars on a regular basis.

Just remember to be specific if you are unlucky enough to break down. Sending the wrong truck first time can make you wait another hour or hour and a half for the right one.
