Countach Dizzy

Hi All,

I cannot seem to find it, but I'm sure someone mentioned that ISTR a Jag dizzy cap would fit a Countach QV.

Have I got it the right way round? Or not?

Hi Simon,

I’ve heard that as well, but I can’t remember where. I doubt very much that Lamborghini had them specially made so it’s bound to be off another V12 car of that era.

I've fitted a Jaguar XJS V12 Dizzy to the Diablo - the old I removed was one too!

There are 2 types though - you need the right one!



The Diablo one and the Jag one were both made by Magnetti Marelli, simply labelled / stamped differently! The rotor is the same too.

(Don't forget the gasket )



I would double check if that's the same as the Countach! (Unless you're happy to just get the parts and find out later if they're the same as what's in there?! It's <£100 which is sod all!)

Interestingly...

The Diablo cap is £417.86 and Rotor £175, from Eurospares!

I bet they're still essentially the same though!
